How To Join the League
Three steps, about ten minutes.
Anyone can join. There is no entry fee, no qualifying time to beat and no minimum iRating. You do need an active iRacing membership and the FIA F4 content.

Join our Discord
The league runs on Discord: race announcements; briefings; track and setup talk; post-race comments; help and questions; group chat when we watch the broadcast together; liveries; race numbers and more.
Set your Discord display name to exactly the same name as your iRacing account. A semi-automated system will then let you into the Discord server. If you do not know how to change your name only for the iGPFun discord, simply drop a message in the Welcome channel and we will help you out. In this way we can match the Discord comments with the on track persona, and spam is avoided just like in the iRacing forums.

Apply to the league in iRacing
Our league ID is 637. Open the league page directly, or find it from inside the iRacing membersite: click Leagues, then Find a League, search for iGPFun, and use the green Apply to League button at the bottom right.

Post in the league application channel
Back on Discord, go to the league application channel and write a short message saying that you have read the rules and would like to race. Tell us how you found the league while you are there.
Applications are reviewed once a week, generally on Sunday. Do not worry if yours is not accepted immediately; it is normal. Feel free to post in Discord if you feel there is a problem.
What happens next
Once you are accepted you can join any race weekend you like. We encourage you to run a full season, but you can also join individual races if you feel like it. The championship counts your best 10 results from 12 races, so a couple of absences will not wreck your standings.
Before your first race, two things are worth doing:
- Read the race briefing for the current round. Every track has a lap 1 no pass zone, designed to avoid start crashes. On rare occasions there are also special track rules that you are expected to know. If in doubt, ask on Discord.
- Read the league rules. The short version covers everything you need for your first race.
Race and league matters are communicated on Discord, including special track rules and penalties, so keep an eye on it during the week.
